It is a sanctuary where the science of medicine and art of compassionate communication intertwine to ease the suffering of those facing their most vulnerable days. Since 1996, CanSupport, a ‘WHO’ awarded NGO, has been providing Free Home Based Palliative Care to underserved patients suffering from advanced and terminal cancer. CanSupport’s 29 teams, each of a doctor, nurse and counsellor, serve more than 2,000 patients and caregivers at any given time across 5 states of India (Delhi, Haryana, UP, Punjab and Jharkhand).
