Chintan Environmental Research and Action Group is anchored in sustainability. Chintan works on the issues of sustainable production and consumption, clear air, and climate change. In all these, we focus on poverty alleviation, gender equity, nutritional security, and green livelihoods. Chintan works in Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand for implementation and nationally for capacity building, research, and advocacy. Our vision is: To be the enabler of systemic changes for a healthy, equitable environment and life for all via actionable research, capacity building, thought leadership, piloting of new ideas, and data-based interventions. Our mission is: To create a world where every individual has access to a clean, safe, and healthy environment, and to safe and dignified livelihood.
